First of all, I am probably the one to blame for this, but Baby Girl has learned how to ask "Dat?" meaning "What's That?" All day, every day, she points to different things and asks "Dat?". Then I tell her: it's a sign, it's a butterfly, it's a light, it's a butterfly, it's a paper, it's a butterfly, it's a screw, it's a butterfly. It is cute, and I try to remind myself that repetition is how Baby Girl will learn but it is ALL DAY long. Everything she sees, even when she knows what it is, she has to ask me "Dat?". She points to things on every page in the books she reads... Dat? We went to the mall a couple days ago, and everything she saw in the windows, or the sky lights in the ceiling, or the tile floor .... Dat? Dat? Dat? Dat? Hopefully my patience doesn't run out before her questioning does!

I took this picture yesterday afternoon. Baby Girl likes to take 'naps' with her stuffed animals. She never actually falls asleep, but she likes to pretend. She got all comfy on our couch and pulled her animals around her so she could watch a little Elmo. I put the blanket over them, and she was content to cuddle with her animals for a good 10 minutes. What a silly child. Of course, after the 10 minutes, she started jumping on the couch. While I was in the kitchen, I heard a loud thud on our living room floor. I go in to find Baby Girl - with her animals- on the floor. She had fallen off the couch. Ooops. She just looked up at me and said "Uh Oh." She didn't cry or anything. She actually wanted back up on the couch. What am I going to do with her?
